Brunch with Avocado, Prosciutto, and Gefstico

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 slices of white or whole wheat bread
  • 30 g butter, at room temperature
  • 100 g grated or flaked DOIRANI Gefstico
  • 4 slices of prosciutto
  • 1-2 ripe avocados
  • Salt and pepper
  • 100 g arugula

Procedure

We spread butter on all 4 slices of bread and place them in a pan over medium heat, with the buttered side down. On each slice, we generously spread the grated Gefstiko and cover the skillet for 2-3 minutes, allowing the DOIRANI product to melt. Then, we carefully remove the slices from the skillet.

Next, we layer a slice of prosciutto on top of the melted Gefstico. Following that, we add the arugula, season it with salt and pepper, slice the avocado, and arrange the slices on top. To finish our dish, we sprinkle flakes of Gefstico over it.
